There is nothing new in new years aside from the fact that it guarantees that the year is indeed new. The wonderful thing about it however, is that it is enough to give us strength. The strength to hope, to continue, to forget, to forgive, to move on, to undo and redo things – to start over. This rare opportunity happens once every year and it is our choice to make.
Whatever we do, the year would change.

People do blog for a lot of reasons; consequently blogs all over the world vary in a number of ways. From personal blogs to corporate blogs, these blogs has its unique function to the publisher. Some use it to track and publish their daily lives, others to inform and entertain while some use it to earn money.
Blogging definitely changed the face of the internet and revolutionized internet socialization and networking, if I may say.
In my years of blogging, as this site traces its archives from 2005 I used it in a number of ways – to track some of my personal stories, to showcase my craft in writing, to share and mainstream my thoughts and opinions and yes, to make money as well.
Remaking this site from its then address at orgfree made me look back on the past few years. It was a quick trip to the past. It made me laugh on how shallow some entries were (suffering from grammatical flaws) and it also reminded me of the pundit writer that I was (on politics, entertainment and issues of national concern). More importantly, I have witnessed how I am maturing as a person over the years.
I guess, I’ll just continue.

Last June 29, freshmen from all colleges, institutes, schools and faculties of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) marched across the Arch of the Centuries as a symbolic act of being a Thomasian and living up with its three Cs - Competence, Compassion and Commitment as a bona fide student and member of the community.
